How do I turn the app into a widget?

You can turn GoWish into a widget on your Home Screen, giving you quick access to add new wishes or open the app.

Note: The widget is currently only available on iOS.

📲 How to add the widget

  1. Press and hold the GoWish icon on your Home Screen.

  2. A menu will open where you can, among other things, use Face ID, share the app, or remove it.

  3. At the top of the menu, you’ll see a larger square showing the widget. Tap it to change GoWish from a regular app icon into a widget.

The widget will now appear directly on your Home Screen.

🔗 What can I use the widget for?

The widget gives you quick access to GoWish:

  • Tap “Paste link” to quickly paste a product link and create a new wish.

  • Tap below the “Paste link” field to open GoWish as usual.

🎨 The widget matches your theme

The widget’s appearance follows the theme you’ve selected in GoWish.

For example, if you’ve selected Classic, your widget will also use the Classic theme. If you change your theme in the app, the widget will adapt to match it.
